Flower Size .35 to .6" [.8 to 1.5cm]
Found in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia st elevations of sea level to 800 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial in heavy timber and loam with subterranean tubers giving rise to a slender, red tinted, flexuous stem carrying a single, apical, glabrous, linear, terete or channeled leaf basally tinged with red that blooms in the spring in nature on a terminal, tall, erect, raqchis 4" [10 cm] long, wiry, fractiflex, 1 to 4 flowered inflorescence carrying pink, red or yellow flowers.
