Flower Size 1 to 1.4" [2.5 to 3.5 cm]

Found as a terrestrial in Western Australia in open scrub on sandy soil at elevations of sea level to 250 meters with a stout to moderately slender stem with 1 to 2 stem, loosely shething bracts and carrying a single ovate to oblong-lanceolate leaf that blooms in the late winter through early summer in nature on an erect, 2 to 10 flowered inflorescence

T fuscolutea and T. benthamania, are the only Thelymitras with a fringed column.
