Found in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania Australia at elevations of sea level to 800 meters in coastal heathlands, heathy forests as a medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with a single leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 4 to 16" [10 to 40 cm] long, 1 to 6 flowered inflorescence with 2 to 3 bracts
