Common Name The Dedman's Thelymitra - In Australia Cinnamon Sun Orchid

Flower Size 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm]

A small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial occuring in Western Australia at elevations of 150 to 200 meters in Wandoo woodlands on slopes near streams with a single ovate leaf that blooms in the later spring on an erect, 10 to 20" [15 to 50 cm] long, 2 to 15 flowered inflorescence with several small bracts and carrying cinnomon scented flowers. The photo shows two color varieties.
