Common Name The Naked Thelymitra - The Plain Sun Orchid

Flower Size 1 3/5" [4 cm]

This large sized, cool to cold growing species is a terrestrial from New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia occuring in open forests and fields at elevations of 5 to 1000 meters with subterranean tubers carrying a single, glabrous, ovate-lanceolate leaf that blooms on an erect, racemose, several flowered inflorescence with many fragrant flowers occuring in the spring.
