Found in Queensland and New South Wales Australia in coastal heathlands and wallum communities in asndy soils at elevations of sea level to 200 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cold growing terrestrial with a single leaf that blooms in the winter and early spring on an erect, 6 to 14" [15 to 35 cm] long, 2 to 10 flowered inflorescence with 2 to 3 sterile bracts.
