Found in Western Australia at elevations of 20 to 350 meters among low shrubs in sandplain vegetation or shrubby forests as a small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with an elongated stem carrying a single, apical, thick, fleshy leaf and blooms on a terminal, racemose, erect, 20" [50 cm] long, few to many [5 to 17] flowered inflorescence with long-lasting flowers that blooms in the spring in nature
