Flower Size 1.2 to 2" [3 to 5 cm]

Found in southwest Western Australia at elevations of 50 to 400 meters in winter wet clay loam under shrubs as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, broad purplish based, often blotched, sometimes lobed, spirally twisted leaf that blooms in the later winter and early spring on an erect, 4 to 8" [10 to 20 cm] long, wiry, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence with a single sterile bract.
