Common Name The Star-Shaped Thelymitra - In Australia The Starry Sun Orchid

Flower Size 1 to 2" [2.5 to 5 cm]

Found in Western Australia at elevations of 100 to 350 meters on low laterite hills and Jarrah Forests as a small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial orchid with a single broad leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 6 to 10 " [15 to 25 cm] long, 2 to 12 flowered inflorescence with several small bracts and often crowded flowers
