Found in the Philippines at low elevations as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with an erect, monopodial stem carrying, very stiff, leathery, unequally bilobed apcailly, oblong to elliptic leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, as long as the leaves, to 2.4" [6 cm] long, rachis thickened, successively many flowered inflorescence with triangular floral scales and carrying short lived flowers.
