Common Name The Japan Thrixspermum - In China Xiao Ye Bai Dian Lan

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in southern Japan, Korea?, and Fujian, Guangdong, Guizhou, Hunan, Sichuan provinces of China, Bhutan and Taiwan in forest margins along rivers and valleys at elevations of 900 to 1000 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a pendulous, slender, densely many leaved stem carrying narrowly oblong to oblanceolate, leathery, obtuse and minutely bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the fall on an axillary, longer than the leaf, 1.2 to 2" [3 to 5 cm] long, 2 flowered inflorescence with elongated, pointy, bracts.
