Found in west Sumatra at elevations of 1700 to 1800 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a climbing, flattened stem carrying lanceoalte to strap-shaped, narrowing apically, obtuse to indistinctly bilobed, shiny green, in youth spotted with dull purple leaves that blooms on a spreading peduncle thin, somewhat flattened, [9.5 to 16 cm] long, rachis thicker flattened, rectangular, in cross-section, [12 to 30 cm] long, successively single, many flowered inflorescence.
