Found only in Borneo in very dry open forests on steep and exposed ridges or in peat swamp forests at elevations around 5 to 1300 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with to .4" [1 cm] between each ovoid, not or slightly flattened psudobulb and carrying a single, rather thick, ovate, light green, at right angle to blade, petilolate base leaves and blooms in the spring on a basal, .4" [1 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with tubular floral bracts.
