Common Name The White-Scarlet Trichocentrum
Flower Size to 2" [4.5 to 5 cm]
A miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte from Peru, Ecuador and Brazil in wet tropical forests with small, clustered, ovoid, pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, coriaceous, small, elliptic, acute, sessile, fleshy leaf that blooms in the summer and fall on a lateral, 2 1/2 to 3" [6 to 7.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with up to 5 successive opening, floral scented flowers over several months.
This species is a very variable species in flower shape, color and size.
