Common Name The Scarlet Trichopilia

Found from Guatemala to Colombia as a medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte at elevations of 800 to 1500 meters with clustered, linear, strongly compressed pseudobulbs carrying lanceolate to elliptic-lanceolate, coriaceous, acute leaves that blooms in the spring on an arching, to pendant, short, 2 to 5 flowered inflorescence with highly fragrant flowers.
