Found in Borneo and Sumatra in wet hill to lower montane forests at elevations over 1000 meters and up as a medium sized, cool growing climbing to scrambling epiphyte with an erect, strongly compressed, elongate stem carrying many, medium sized, linear leaves that blooms in the fall on several axillary, short, single to occasionally 2 flowered inflorescence.
