Found in penninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Java and Sumatra in lowland and hill forests at elevations up 200 to 1100 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a pendant stem carrying linear-lanceolate, acute, unequally bilobed apically, basally clasping leaves that blooms mostly in the winter on 1 to 3, short, single flowered inflorescence carrying slightly fragrant flowers
