Common Name The Pink Trichoglottis - In China Duan Sui Mao She Lan
Flower Size 1/4" [7 mm]
This species is from the Philippines and Taiwan in forests on tree trunks at low elevations, and was formerly known as Cleisostoma rosea Lindley. It is a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphytic species with a pendant, slender, fractiflex, branching stem with 2 ranked, oblong-lanceolate, leathery leaves that blooms on an axillary, sessile, 2 flowered inflorescence with the long-lived, waxy flowers held on the stem occuring in the spring.
