Found in Bahia, Pernambuco and Minas Gerais state, Brazil as a miniature to small sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte with a single, apical, thick, coriaceous, elliptic leaf that blooms in the summer on several at once, lateral to pendulous, 2 to 3.2" [5 to 8 cm] long, racemose to occasional few branched, fractiflex inflorescence with a few well spaced, triangular-oblong, acute, acuminate bracts carrying 4 to 8 flowers.
