Found in Java in moist forests at elevations of 700 to 1800 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with climbing and branching or sometimes hanging and stiff stems carrying stiff, elliptic-linear, apically bilobed, rounded lobes with a small tooth between them leaves that blooms in the early spring on opposite the leaves, several along the stem, 1 to 5 flowered per inflorescence
