Found From Costa Rica, Panama, Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil in hot lowlands in full sun usually on small twigs and branches at elevations around 365 to 1500 meters as a miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with fan-shaped growths and an ellipsoid, complanate pseudobulb covered by imbricate leaf bases and equitant, linear, acute, conduplicate leaves that blooms in the spring through summer on a slender, to about 3" [7.5 cm] long, erect, paniculate inflorescence with subglobose, very small flowers held in dense, head like racemes terminating the paniculate branches occuring in cultivation.
