Found in the Philippines in montane forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with short, thick, flattened stems enveloped by persistent leaf sheaths and carrying 2 ranked, leathery, thick, rigid, erect leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a short, very thick, 2 .8" [7 cm] long, winged, to 25 flowered, racemose inflorescence.
