Flower Size 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm]

Found in northern Sulawesi as a giant sized, hot to warm growing, clumping, monopodial epiphytic Vanda with an elongate stem carrying many strap-shaped, v-shaped at the base, strongly decurved, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the winter through spring on an axillary, shorter than the leaf, to 15" [37.5 cm] long, loosely 5 to 9 flowered inflorescence carrying Flowers that are 4 - 5 cm across with a vanilla fragrance and last for several weeks.
