Common Name The Phalaenopsis Vanilla
Flower Size 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm]
Found in the Seychelles Islands as a giant sized, hot growing epiphyte.
"This species is scarcely different from V. roscheri from continental Africa and the nearby islands. The appearence is exactly the same, however the base of the lip is said to be much more pubescent than in V. madagascariensis." Soto Arenas & Cribb 2010
