Found in Fiji, Samoa and Vanuatu in montane and cloud forests at elevations of 175 to 650 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with narrowly ovate to elliptic-ovate, acuminate, light to dark green, gradually narrowing below in to the petiollate base leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, 2.4 to 4" [6 to 10 cm] long, glabrous to sparsely pubescent near apex, densely several to many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate floral bracts.
