Found in Java at elevations around 790 to 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing terrestrial with a short, erect stem carrying a few, ovate, acute, long petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, dense, to 2" [5 cm] long, pilose, to 20 flowered inflorescence with successively opening flowers
