Found in India and Nepal at elevations around 1200 to 1500 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing monopodial epiphyte with a stout, erect stem carrying distichous, ligulate, unequally bilobed apically, spreading and recurved leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect or suberect, 5" [12.5 cm] long, shorer than the leaves, laxly several flowered inflorescence
