Common Name UST's Vanda [An acronym for the college University of Santo Thomas in Manila]

Found in the Philippines at elevations around 1250 meters as a giant sized, cool growing, monopodial epiphyte with an elongate, erect stem carrying many alternate, gracefully curved leaves that are unequally bilobed apically and blooms in the fall on a horizontal to pendulous, longer than the leaves, several to many [to 12] flowered inflorescence carrying fragrant flowers.
