Common Name The Roof Of the Mouth Warczewiczella [refers to the appearance of the lip]

Found near La Paz Bolivia and in Peru in wet montane forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a small sized, fan-shaped, pseudobulbless, cool to warm growing epiphyte with a stem completely enveloped by lanceolate to oblanceolate, acute to acuminate, articulated and conduplicate leaves that are dorsally keeled and graduate in size that blooms in the summer on an axillary, terete, 2.4" to 3 1/4" [6 to 8 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a single close basal bract and an ovate, acute, loose floral bract.
