Common Name The Green Flowered Ypsilopus

Flower Size .8" [2 cm]

Found in Tanzania in mixed evergreen forests at elevations around 1500 to 2100 meters as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying linear, tapering, bilaterally compressed, iris-like unequally bilobed apically, rounded lobes, basally twisted so as to lie in one plane leaves that blooms in the fall on a below the leaves, 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm] long, 6 to 10 flowered inflorescence with broadly triangular, obtuse bracts and carrying flowers that do not open well.
