Common Name The Oblong Leaf Zootrophion
Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]
Found in Ecuador and Peru as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte at elevations of 600 to 1950 meters with several jointed ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3 close, tubular, evanescent sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to oblong-elliptic, acute, petiolate leaf and blooms in the later summer and fall on a short, single flowered inflorescence with a nodding flower.
