Common Name Mosen's Zygopetalum [Swedish Plant Collector in Brazil late 1800's]

Flower Size 1 3/4" to 2" [4 to 5 cm]

Found in the southeast Atlantic forest of Brazil as a giant sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial at elevations of 900 meters and up with an elongate, scandent, leafy, enveloped by sheathing leaf bases and carrying deciduous, arching, linear-lanceolate, acuminate leaves and blooms on a 16" [40 cm] few to several flowered, racemose inflorescence with waxy, fragrant, flowers.
