Found in Madagascar in humid evergreen forests at elevations around 750 to 1000 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with leathery, 4 to 6 leaves with undulate margins that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a pendant, 5 to 16" [12 to 40 cm] long, 3 to 6, successively single flowered inflorescence carrying, large pure white flowers.
