Found in Espirito Santo state of Brazil as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with an erect ramicaul enveloped by 2 papery sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic, acute, narrowing below into a pseudopetiolate base leaf that can bloom at most any time of the year on a fascile of erect, short, successively single, 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence.
