Common Name Regnell's Anacheilium [Swedish Physician and Botanist 1800's]

Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]

Found in Minas Gerais state of Brazil without locational data as a small sized epiphyte with oblong, spindle-shaped pseduobulbs carrying 1 to 3, apical, erect, thick, oblong-lanceolate, acute, basally conduplicate leaves that blooms on a terminal, to 2.4 to 4.4" [6 to 11 cm] long, 5 to 9 flowered inflorescence.

Without better references available it is hard to tell where this species belongs. The available drawing does not allow seeing if the column teeth are the same length which makes the validity of putting it in Anacheilum as opposed to Prosthechea.
