" The flowers, which are borne singly on slender peduncles as long as the leaves, are star-like and rather like a large Aerangis in appearance but the structure is that of Angraecum as are the vegetative characters. The tepals are 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm] in length but the spur is only 1" [2.5 cm] long." Summerhayes 1958
