Common Name The Bristly Anoectochilus - In China Jin Xian Lan

Flower Size less than 3/4" [less than 1.85 cm]

Found in India, Ceylon and Java in broadleafed, evergreen, humid primary forests in soils dampened by mists and splash along steep watercourses at elevations of 1200 to 1800 meters as a terrestrial orchid in rich humus in damp crevasses with subcordate to ovate-acute, velvety, dark lime-green reticulated with gold leaves that are puple black on the underside that blooms on a 10" [25 cm] long, several [5] flowered inflorescence with successively opening flowers occuring in the summer.
