Common Name The Bare Apostasia

Found in Bangladesh, Assam, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Borneo, Java and Sumatra in shady coniferous and broad-leaved, evergreen lowland and montane forests on shale at elevations of 320 to 1400 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial carrying many, close, linear to linear-lanceolate leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect, simple to few branched, many flowered inflorescence.
