Found in Sarawak Borneo in lower montane forests at elevations around 1740 to 1800 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing, trailing, mat forming epiphyte with a very slender, branching distally stems carrying narrowly oblong-elliptic, minutely obliquely retuse, mucronate, thin-textured, sheathed leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a lateral or terminal, peduncle .2" [5 mm] long, provided with 2 to 3 tubular, acute to acuminate bracts, rachis .2 to .48" [ .5 to 1.2 cm] long, fractiflex, successivelysingle, few flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, narrowly acuminate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying white flowers with the apex of the lip pale purple.

Similar to A fractiflexa and A undulata but is distinguished by the distinctive, bilobed lip. <
