Common Name The Short Mentum Appendicula
Flower Size .34" [8.5 mm] long
Found in southern Sumatra at elevations of 1400 to 2000 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with close set, sometimes branching, oval in cross-section stems carrying oblong, thick, tough, shiny, somewhat unevenly bidentate with a spike between the teeth leaves thta blooms on a terminal, sometimes lateral from the upper nodes, peduncle .2 to .36" [5 to 9 mm] long, rachis .1 to .36"[2.5 to 9 mm] long, 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence. J J Smith atated that this species has flowers that are white and haver violet streaks on the petals.
