Found in Sumatra and Java at elevations of 800 to 1500 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with terete, unbranched, close set stems carrying numerous, narrowly lanceolate, broadest in the basal half, unequally bilobed apically, shiny green, thick leaves that blooms in the late winter on a lateral, .2" [5 mm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence with oval, acute floral bracts.
