Found in New Guinea in hill forests on trees at elevations around 400 to 450 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with an erect, terete, laxly many leaved stem carrying erect-patent, narrowly oblong-lanceolate, obtuse, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the winter, spring and fall on a terminal and lateral, paniculate, many-branched, longer than the leaf, short pedunculate inflorescence with patent-suberect, lanceolate, as long as the ovary, acuminate floral bracts. .
