Found in Minas Gerais, Espiritu Santo and Rio Grande do Sul states of Brazil as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect leafy stem carrying elliptical, acute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms on an erect, 4"[10 cm] long, densely many flowered, conical inflorescence with broadly lanceolate, acute, as long as the flower floral bracts
