Common Name Wolter's Batemannia [German original Collector of species early 1900's]

Found in northern Peru as a small sized epiphtye with ovoid, more or less tetragonus pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, erect-spreading, lanceolate-elliptic, acute to short acuminate, narrowing below into the short, petiolate base leaves that blooms on a suberect, 6" [15 cm] long, 1 to few flowered inflorescence.
