Found in western and central Sumatra at elevations around 600 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying many, narrowly lanceolate, very unequal and more or less bilobed apically, fleshy, broad in the middle leaves that blooms on a slender, densely short bristled, to 4" [to 10 cm] long, successively few, densely many flowered inflorescence that is as long as or shorter than the leaves with minute, obtuse, bristly floral bracts.
