Found in Rio de Janiero state Brazil as a small sized, cool to warm growing litho-epiphyte with clustered, oblong-conical, sulcate pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, plicate, linear-lanceolate leaves that blooms on a basal, short inflorescence enveloped by imbricating sheaths and carrying fragrant flowers
