Found in central Chile near the coast at elevations around 45 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a pseudorosette of narrowly linear to narrowly lanceolate, acute, entire margin, semi-fleshy, somewhat conduplicate at the central nerve, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a terminal, erect, to 24" [60 cm] long, 10 to 15 flowered inflorescence.
