Common Name The Formosan Bletilla - In China Xiao Bai Ji

Flower Size 1.2 to 1.4" [3 to 3.5 cm]

Found in China, the Ryukyu Islands and Taiwan on open stony and grassy slopes to thin thickets at elevations of 500 to 3400 meters as a miniature to medium sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with an erect, rather slender, slightly swollen basally stem that carries 3 to 4, linear-lanceolate leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on a terminal, loosely and successively 1 to 6 flowered inflorescence.
