Flower Size 1.4" [3.5 cm]

Found in Mexico at elevations of 1700 to 2740 meters as a medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with pyriform corms giving rise to 1 to 2, plicate, green, linear to lanceolate leaves that are mostly not present at blooming occuring in the fall through early winter on a basal, to 24" [60 cm] long, peduncle to 22" [ 55 cm] long, enveloped in the lower half by 2 elongate, tubular, acute bracts, rachis to 2" [5 cm] long, successively 1 to 2, 3 to 6 flowered inflorescence.
