Common Name or Meaning Merrill's Bogoria [American Botanist in the Philippines 1900's]

Found on Mindanao island of the Philippines near sea level as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a very short stem with short internodes carrying a few, narrow, oblong, leathery leaves that blooms in the fall on several, branching, to 8" [20 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence arising from the nodes of the stem.
